Sacramento City Unified Unveils Historic Action Plan to Improve Student supports, Student Disciplinary Practices and Minimize Racial Disparities

Sacramento, CA - The Sacramento City Unified School District (69ÊÓƵ) today unveiled a comprehensive action plan for overhauling practices that in the past have resulted in disproportionately high suspension rates for students with disabilities, particularly Black and African-American students with disabilities.

As part of the standard renewal process, district staff publishes a summary report outlining key findings from the review of the charter school’s submitted petition. These reports, along with the charter petition and hearing dates, can be found on the 69ÊÓƵ website at /charter-renewal.

This year, families that live within our school district boundaries will create an account on  to apply for Open Enrollment. 

Once your parent/guardian account is created on SchoolMint, add your student(s) to the account.

Parent Participation Preschool Program

Overview

Nurturing, caring teachers will help you and your child grow to your full potential in this unique preschool setting. Our education is focused on child development, positive discipline and developmentally appropriate practices. 

Parents work in the classroom in collaboration and guidance of the teacher to help children develop a variety of skills. Parents also learn parenting techniques to use in the classroom and at home.
