Family and Medical Leave Act and California Family Rights Act (“FMLA / CFRA”)
The Family and Medical Leave Act and California Family Rights Act (“FMLA / CFRA”) provide eligible employees the opportunity to take unpaid, job-protected leave for certain specified reasons.
The maximum amount of leave an employee may use is either 12 or 26 weeks within a 12-month period depending on the reasons for the leave.

Through the use of a touch-tone telephone or the Internet, this fast, secure service verifies employment verbally and/or in writing when applying for a mortgage or loan, for reference checking, leasing an apartment, or any other instance where proof of employment or income is needed. You benefit from having control of the process – authorizing others access to your information.

Uniform Complaint Procedures
The Governing Board recognizes that the district has the primary responsibility to ensure compliance with applicable state and federal laws and regulations governing educational programs. The Board encourages early resolution of complaints whenever possible. To resolve complaints which may require a more formal process, the Board adopts the uniform system of complaint processes specified in 5 CCR 4600-4670 and the accompanying administrative regulation.
