Working Together For Student Success
The Parent Information Exchange (P.I.E.) was established as an opportunity for 69视频 parents and school site and district staff to exchange information with community agencies providing free and low-cost services to students and their families.
The Family and Community Empowerment Department coordinates the monthly luncheon meetings that bring together key representatives from school parent groups, 69视频 staff, community organizations, city and county agencies and business partners to discuss their programs and services for families. The meetings are designed to create ever-growing partnerships with resources that will support the educational, health and emotional development of our students.

The personal safety and health of each district employee is of primary importance. All employees shall comply with all occupational safety and health standards, rules, regulations and orders required by law and district regulations.
School Choice
The Sacramento City Unified School District allows all students residing within its boundaries to enroll in district schools or programs other than their home school, subject to availability.
Comprehensive Sexual Health Education
California Healthy Youth Act (CHYA)
California state law, the , requires that comprehensive sexual health education and HIV prevention education be provided to students at least once in middle school and once in high school, starting in 7th grade. Instruction must encourage students to communicate with parents, guardians or other trusted adults about human sexuality. Instruction must be medically accurate, age鈥恆ppropriate and inclusive of all students. It must include the following:
Implementation Grant Requirements
Implementation grants are for new community schools, or for the expansion or continuation of existing community schools. Implementation Grant funding ranges from $100,000-$500,000/year per school (depending on school enrollment) for 5 years for districts that already have community schools.
