Sacramento, CA - On Saturday, March 26, Sacramento City Unified School District (69ÊÓƵ) negotiations team met with representatives from SEIU to discuss our proposal to increase compensation for SEIU-represented employees. Sac City Unified has been working tirelessly on behalf of our
children throughout the weekend to do all we can to bring them
back to school tomorrow where they belong. Here is where
negotiations with each labor partner stand as of now. Expect a
communication later today to confirm whether or not we are able
to open schools tomorrow.

Statement from Sacramento City Unified School District Superintendent and Board President Following Discovery of Racist Graffiti at Rosemont High School
Sacramento, CA - Sacramento City Unified School District is investigating an incident of racist graffiti that was discovered near the end of the school day at Rosemont High School on Tuesday, March 22. Immediately upon discovery, school administrators worked quickly to have the graffiti removed from a second-floor hallway and began reviewing security footage to provide evidence to law enforcement.
