Parent Empowerment Pathway Program
10 Week Workshop Series to Engage Parents Now!

Overview

The Family and Community Empowerment Dept.  has a full schedule of parentworkshops this fall. Each Tier of the Parent Empowerment  Pathway Program is offered over the course of 10 weeks, and provided at no cost to the school or the participants. The commitment from the school is merely to provide space. The facilitator will bring in all materials, child care, interpretation where needed, and a light snack.

Jamee Villa
Board of Education Member, Area 4

Jamee Villa is the mother to a daughter enrolled in 69视频. She is also a product of Sacramento City schools. Her number one priority will always be on doing what is right for our children and teachers. 

Jamee is a member of the PTO, a leader in the Colonial Heights Neighborhood Association, a member of UAW 2350, and a lifelong resident of Sacramento. Her family has remained committed to being active in the community and believes community engagement is an essential part of truly successful public schools.

Tara Jeane
Board of Education Member, Area 1

Tara is a high school English teacher and education advocate who knows that students win when adults collaborate. She works with education leaders throughout California and all the way to D.C. to reimagine what school can be and is committed to realizing the potential of public education for every student. Tara is excited to bring her experience and energy to the conversations and decisions on 69视频鈥檚 Board.
